SERVICES & CAPABILITIES

Schmald Tool & Die, Inc. offers services for design only, and/or complete design and build packages for sheet metal dies, gauges and fixtures. As always, we have partnerships with a variety of plastic injection mold designers to provide the same excellent services for injection molds.

Complimenting the tool build is our prototype, tryout and short run ability for sheet metal. Schmald can also provide our customers with machinery, gauge and fixture design and design services. We are available to work with you on design projects or to assist you on your total project and/or machining needs.

QUALITY
Schmald Tool & Die's metrology center features a Brown & Sharpe Xcel Coordinate Measuring System, utilizing PC-DMIS software, for part certification. Our Metrology Lab is controlled to meet Brown & Sharpe's standards of CMM capabilities. Optical comparators are also available for the inspection of detailed parts. All of our inspection and gauging equipment is calibrated to national standards.
